Ethiopia

The Ohio State University, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC) and the Ethiopian government are working together to eradicate canine rabies in that country. Through training animal control officers and vets, public awareness and vaccination campaigns, the group believes they can end canine-to-human transmission of the deadly disease.
